Yasuke is gay

Assassin’s Creed: Shadows developer Ubisoft has appeared to confirm that its dual protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke, can both be played as LGBTQ+ characters. Cool, black guys in general LOVE to be portrayed as gay! Devs shoehorning sexuality in after already appropriating their ethnicity. What could possibly go wrong? I am genuinely hoping this is the case. On July 18th, , X [2] user @Grummz posted one of the earliest viral mentions of Yasuke as a "gay Black samurai" while commenting on a news article related to same-sex romance options in AC Shadows.

The tweet (seen below) received over , views and 9, likes in a year. You can choose to be single, you can choose one of the romance options, or you can just play in canon mode if you have choice-phobia, and the game will follow canon, which is no romance for either Naoe or Yasuke.
